Shop with a cop

Today the Idaho Falls Police Department got together to help families stay warm this winter.
They did it by picking 30 lucky students to go on a 300 dollar shopping spree to buy new clothes for winter.
The day started with breakfast at the nazereth church in idaho falls… And then they headed over to the store to go shopping.
The 3-hundred dollars they received could be used to buy anything from coats and pants… To socks and boots. Creators behind the event say it’s wonderful to help out families in the community.
9:11 “some of these kids you don’t know if they will come to school without coat, without a program like this.”
“it’s a good opportunity for the kids to be around good role models and realize they are normal people, just like we are.”
On top of the 3-hundred dollar shopping spree… The kids also got to pick out a 50 dollar gift for themselves.
