UK — A BOY of four was honoured yesterday for getting emergency help for his mum when she started to have a fit.
Jake McLean was alone with mum Heather when she had a seizure at their home in Inverness.
He dialled 999, then clearly gave operator Evelyn Grant his address and a description of what was happening.
Yesterday, Evelyn presented Jake with a bravery award at Inverness Ambulance HQ.
Heather, 41, who has a benign tumour, said: “He is my wee hero, a real superstar.”
Evelyn added: “Jake was an inspiration.”
