Packing for charity

Packing for vacation is always kind of a nuisance, but today Yankee Trails World Travel made packing a little more exciting.
And for a good cause.
Three Capital Region residents had two minutes to pack a suitcase full of clothes. Attendees to the event could donate to the American Cancer Society.
Yankee Trails World Travel vowed to match the donations dollar-for-dollar.
The contestants were scored on efficiency, style and technique.
“We had a lot of fun I just couldn’t get the top of the suitcase closed because they gave me a big sombrero to put there and it wouldn’t zipper around it, but I tried hard!,” Barbara Maples said.
And believe it or not she took home the title of “World’s Greatest Travel Packer.”
