Mum rescues son from tram door

A QUICK-THINKING mum rescued her young son after he became trapped in the doors of a tram.

The woman stopped him being dragged under the tram at the stop in Church Street, Croydon, last Thursday.

The boy is believed to have escaped with just bruises although the woman report-edly suffered an arm injury.

Croydon Tramtrack general manager Roger Harding has promised to fully investigate the matter and has studied the CCTV footage.
