Miracle Baby dies for 30 min., then returns to life

A small baby at a Los Angeles hospital who was hit with a heart attack is pronounced dead but comes back to life after 30 minutes.
Doctors, who said nothing like that had happened in their career, told ABC News that one minute the 2-week-old Woody Lander was a healthy little boy, the next he was turning white and struggling to breathe.
The baby had a heart attack, and the doctor pronounced him dead. “He had to say they could not do anymore for poor Woody,” the baby’s father said.
However, once the nurses were about to give the boy to his mother, he began to cough. The doctors immediately went into action. Woody’s heart was beating and he came back to life.
In an explanation to justify the event, one of the doctors attributed children’s natural resilience as the main factor which many are calling a miracle.
“It is true that children have a special resilience. They are really not small adults,” said Gregory Fontana of the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. “They have characteristics that allow them to survive incredible circumstances.”
“This case clearly represents nothing short of a miracle,” Fontana said.
