Cat Adopts Motherless Dog

A little Rottweiler that was rejected by its own mother after being born just a week ago has been adopted by an unlikely mother.
After discovering the dog’s predicament, workers at the humane society in Meridien, Connecticut decided to pair the little dog with a nursing cat. The pint-sized pup has found a new home in a cage full of felines.
Dog and mother cat seem to be getting along just fine.
Workers at the human society are so thrilled that the cat has accepted the dog that they named her “mother of the month.”
