Surprise wedding proposal during popular TV show

He’s been with her for five years. But being together was no longer enough: he wanted marriage.
In this day and age, how do you propose? Make it special, memorable?
The idea was born to air a commercial during the super bowl. That is expensive, so money needed to be raised and the My Super Proposal - A Superbowl Commercial Proposal was launched.
He ended up filming his own commercial which CBS said they might air independently. But in the 2nd quarter, they called to say it was a no-go.
No problem though: his love adores the TV show Veronica Mars.
The $10,000 that was raised has been donated to the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital in Nashville which will issue a press release about it later on.
The “love commercial” finally aired during Veronica Mars — and here is her response:
