Family memories reunited

A COUPLE have been reunited with their wedding video, after it was found in a car boot sale in Exeter.
As reported in the News last week, David Stephens, from Devon, was looking for the couple whose professional wedding video he found among a bundle of tapes in December.
David said: “The video was left at the jumble sale as the dregs that didn’t get sold, and I just happened to pick it up and look through it.
“As the wedding and reception took place in Chard, I thought I would try the local paper to see if anyone responded.
“One or two people who were in the film phoned up to say they were part of it, and then the groom called me up to claim it.”
The missing video belonged to Tracey and Lloyd Bryant, who live in Yeovil and got married on August 21, 1999, at Hornsbury Mill, near Chard.
David added: “It’s still a bit of a mystery as to how the video got to be in Exeter as the couple now live in Yeovil.
“Mr Bryant didn’t know why one of his relatives would want to sell his wedding video, but thought the video may have gotten mixed into the sale by mistake.”
David sent the video back to its rightful owners who were pleased to have it back in the family.
