Miracle saved foot

Published: September 12, 2006

WHEN doctors told diabetic Terry Whitfield they would have to amputate his foot, the shock brought him months of sleepless nights.

But now, with both feet still intact, he marvels at the ‘modern miracle’which saved his gangrene-ravaged foot, and wishes to instil hope in others facing the same predicament brought on by diabetes.

It all began with a “harmless scratch” to his right foot. Soon the scratch was badly inflamed and swollen.

Doctors said there was no way of saving his foot.

“I had a mini heart attack when the nurse referred me to a surgeon. But when my doctor came to examine the damage, he said something that I will never forget,” recalled Terry.

The doctor said there was no need for amputation and he would perform a procedure then and there.

Despite this intervention, Terry’s foot remained dangerously infected. With great distress, the doctor said the infected toe should be amputated.

“He also explained that the surgeons never actually just amputate a toe, and that it would be my foot which would be removed.”

Terry’s wife and Positive Health Frequency clinic owner Carol Whitfield applied a resonator to the infected foot to improve circulation and to heal the wound.

“We started our own additional therapy, such as drinking oxygenated water to get additional oxygen into the body’s system to promote healing,” he recalled.

They bought an ozone generator in the hope that the treatment would save Terry’s foot.

Terry’s unconventional treatment at the time included ozone therapy, colloidal silver ingestion and oxygen gel.

And a ‘miracle’ happened: Terry’s foot has healed – after months of anxiety.

Carol has put the trauma of her husband’s treatment to good use, and now helps other people with similar problems from her home where her clinic is.

She does not diagnose or prescribe medication but uses her equipment and skill.

“The therapy helps with kidney stones, high blood pressure, arthritis and many other ailments,” she said.
