A Cat With 2-Faces Beats The Odds

Published: July 27, 2006

A Massachusetts cat not only has 9 lives, and 4 paws, but he also has 2 faces.

This is no ordinary house cat. The feline, who has a name for each face, “Frank” and “Louie”, belongs to a woman in Milbury.

His owner, who used to work at a veterinarian hospital, says someone brought the deformed cat in the office to be euthanized 7 years ago.

But she saved the cat from being put to death and adopted him and now the two-faced cat has proven that beating the odds only takes a little love and faith.

“Frank” and Louie” have altogether two mouths, two noses and two working eyes.

Cats with two faces are extremely rare. Most die within a few days of being born, but not Frank and Louie.

“Everyday I thank God that he is still doing ok,” the cat’s owner said. “He’s like my son.”
