A THREE-YEAR-OLD girl has been reunited with her fluffy collie dog called Holly – thanks to an appeal in the Evening News.
Amy Dart, of Marlborough Street, Scarborough, lost Holly near the TK Maxx store, off St Thomas Street, nine days ago.

The Evening News reported how Amy had been unable to sleep properly since losing her favourite toy.

A reader, who wished to remain anonymous, said that her young son had found Holly near the shop, but did not know who it belonged to until the story appeared in the Evening News.

Holly was dropped off at the Evening News offices in Aberdeen Walk along with a card saying “please return me to Amy”.

Amy’s mum Audrey said: “We can’t believe that someone has found Holly. Amy is delighted.

“We would like to thank whoever has returned Holly – it has made a little girl very happy.”
