After the ceremony and reception Millie and Dick retired to their room at the same hotel where the reception was held. Dick needed to rest his bad knee. Millie left to check out the wedding dance, but she was back in a few minutes feeling very very ill. Dick called 911 and she was rushed to a Mankato hospital and then air lifted to Rochester. On Sunday, June 12, 2005, after many tests, Millie had brain surgery. The doctors thought it was an aneurysm, but because of the large amount of blood they were unable to find it. »
