Child found along highway is reunited with her mother

A 4-year-old girl found wandering alone on Highway 99E Wednesday morning has been reunited with her mother.
Police in Canby spent the morning trying to figure out who the girl was and why she was all alone.
They later discovered that the child’s mother had left her at a daycare provider. When the provider went to use the restroom, the child walked away, apparently trying to head toward her mother’s workplace.
Police say no criminal charges will be filed against the daycare provider.
