Charity for Children donating warm clothes to hospitals

Published: November 4, 2005

New moms and dads are getting some help keeping their babies warm. Charity for Children is donating bundles of clothes, hats and blankets to Central New York hospitals.

They dropped off the first bundles this week at St. Joseph’s West Side Family Health Center.

Nurse Donna Coe says she constantly sees families that need help with basic supplies.

“In the near west side is a very low income neighborhood. We have a number of people here who are refugees. We have people here who are, even though they are working, are living below the poverty level. So, the need is great.”
