Angels Befriending Children: volunteer honored

Angels Befriending Children had no trouble putting people in touch with their inner child when members honored longtime Hospice of Metro Denver volunteer Mickey Ackerman at It’s Playtime, a night of fun and games at the Denver Design Center.
Ackerman, an interior designer, is perhaps best known for starting HMD’s legendary fundraiser, the Mask Project.
His philanthropic efforts have been recognized by several organizations, including Jewish Family Service and the HMD board.
Angels Befriending Children is a guild of HMD, supporting programs for children coping with losing a loved one.
