Shreveport Parents Reunited With Their Daughter

A happy ending Monday afternoon for a Shreveport family after their daughter was kidnapped over the weekend.
One year old Ashantinell Pea was found in Bossier City.
As of Monday night, she`s at home.
Her father, Ernest Wade, said “I`m just so happy she`s home.”
He finally has his daughter back.
Three agonizing days after she went missing.
“It was hell saturday, it was hell sunday, it was hell waking up this morning,” he said.
Monday afternoon brought relief as Bossier City police followed three different tips and found the girl and 42 year old MC O`Neal.
The man detectives say took her.
Ashantinell stays in these apartments with her parents in north Shreveport. On Saturday, O`Neal was supposed to be baby sitting her, but police say it simply did not turn out that way.”
Her mother, Chanell Pea, “I thought my daughter was at home with her grandma and it was just horrible when she wasn`t there. I just kept praying to god and he blessed me to bring her back to me.”
And bringing her home was a priority for police.
Shreveport Police spokesperson Kacee Hargrave said, “as a mother, you automatically put yourself in that situation and mentally you`re like oh my gosh, we`ve got to get this child back, that`s number one, we want to get this child back.”

Now, among other charges o`neal is accused of cruelty to a juvenile.
Rest assured, her father has learned a lesson.
“And I know that I will never make that mistake again, you know to let anybody else babysit my daughter,” he said.
O`Neal is expected to be transferred to a Shreveport jail this week.
