Missing scout miracle

News report.
Bottled water, a handful of granola bars and the chance to see his mom. Those were the initial requests of an 11-year-old Boy Scout who had been missing since Friday after being found alive in the rugged Utah wilderness.
The boy is said to be in good condition in a Salt Lake City medical center. Leanne Gregg has the story.
On the fifth day of a massive search for 11 year old Brennan Hawkins came the news his family had hoped and prayed for…
“It’s a great miracle.”, said grandparent Donnis Minors.
The boy has been found… alive.
Sheriff Dave Edmunds; “”Basically, he was found due west of here, and he did actually traverse that ridge -some how some way. He wanted food water and his mom, which I think any 11-year-old boy would want.”
“And I turned the corner going slow and there was a kid standing in the middle of the trail.”, said Forrest Nunley who found Brennan, “And so I drove up to him and asked him his name, he said yeah, I’m Brandon, he was all muddy and cold, wet clothes… and gave him some food and water and ran out and called 911.”
Thousands of volunteers had been searching the rough terrain since Brennan was reported missing Friday aftenoon.
He was last seen taking off gear at a climbing wall at the boy scout camp and never made it back to his campsite about 200 yards away.
Jody Hawkins, Brennan’s mother, thanked God and the volunteers.
“Prayers are answered and children do come home. We love you and thank you.”
This is their miracle.
