Elderly Woman Credits Dog For Saving Her Life

Mina Benincasa, known as Grandma, uses an oxygen tank because she has emphysema. This weekend, the family was dog-watching their daughter’s six-year-old black lab Samantha, when something happened to Grandma’s oxygen tank.
Amazon discount!Grandma needed help, but everyone was asleep. That’s when Samantha saved the day and woke the house up by scratching on the door.
“Thank God for her, because she saved grandma,” said Denny Head.
Samantha may have had some special training that helped her make that type of rescue. Her owners are both deputies with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
