Indiana man returned lost wedding ring

A husband who lost his wedding ring in his back yard eleven years now has it back just in time for his 20th anniversary.
Bob Markovich of Munster says he lost his ring while getting ready to move from his Whiting home in spring 1994. After scouring the yard and garbage cans, Markovich gave up the search.
But Grace Debrowa, the home’s second owner since the Markoviches moved out, found the gold band while raking the back yard recently.
She eventually was able to contact Markovich’s mother, who helped her son get his ring back. Soon after, Bob Markovich’s wife, Karen, placed the ring on his finger. The couple celebrates 20 years of marriage this week.
For her detective work, Bob Markovich gave Debrowa 20 dollars and a card.
