Serendipity is a wonderful little movie. It’s not a master piece, it’s not anything the movie buffs will huff and puff about a long time — but it is a movie you and I truly enjoy.
It’s got chance encounters, falling in love, separation, you and I rooting for them to get together, a near miss…. and a happy ending.
Parts of the movie play around Christmas time, making this movie one of my feel good Christmas movies.
It’s during Christmas shopping that Jonathan and Sara meet eachother. Endearment, intrigue; lovely hours together. When their ways have to part, Brit decides to let destiny take its course: if they were meant to be together, they’ll meet again…
Can Jonathan agree? Can Sara hold out? Can destiny be forced?
