Bloomingdale Girl Donates to Locks of Love

One little Bloomingdale girl showed she had a big heart today. Eight-year-old Chloe Bukowiec cut 12 inches off her hair for Locks of Love, a charity which takes the hair and makes wigs for children undergoing cancer treatments.
Chloe’s mom, Jennifer, says her daughter was inspired by other children she has seen on WTOC donating their hair, so she wanted to do the same to help.
“We teach this in our home and it means a lot to know she can make a small difference in this world for others,” Jennifer said.
The donations are anonymous, so Chloe won’t find out who will be the recipient of her hair.
