Dog Reunited With Family After Tumble Down Cliff

‘Cliff’ Ran Away After Spotting Elk.
A dog that fell 25 feet off a cliff and was rescued from a ledge has been reunited with his family.
Mike Taylor says he thought he’d never see Bandit again.
The two were walking Saturday when the dog saw some elk and ran away. Shortly after, some good Samaritans plucked him from a hillside in Sandy and called the Oregon Humane Society.
The dog, nicknamed Cliff by OHS staff, wasn’t wearing a collar or microchip. But news stories helped him find his owner.
“I was at work, and I got a call saying, ‘I saw your dog on TV.’ And here I am,” Taylor said at Thursday’s reunion.
With Taylor’s permission, Bandit received a complimentary microchip from OHS.
