Maryknoll senior stages Locks of Love drive

Published: January 7, 2005

As part of the Maryknoll’s Essential Schools Program, each senior is required to complete a senior project. For her senior project, Kori Mijo is staging a Locks of Love drive at Rogers Hall on the school campus from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Locks of Love is a nonprofit organization that provides prosthetic wigs for children with alopecia areata, a hair loss disease, and other medical conditions involving permanent or temporary hair loss. At the drive, all are welcome to have their hair cut by local stylists, and donate the shorn locks to charity.
