Trader rescued from his kidnappers

Police rescued a kidnapped gold trader from his abductors in Sandhuan village here early this morning, a senior police official said.
Ashok Kumar Rastogi, who was kidnapped yesterday while he was on a morning walk, was rescued from a field, Meerut Superintendent of Police, Rural, M P Singh told PTI.
The kidnappers managed to escape after firing some rounds at the police party in which no one was injured, he said, adding Rastogi was found with his hands and feet tied.
