A man has been rescued by his dog after spending six days trapped in his bathtub
Retired spacecraft engineer Bruce Ashworth slipped as he tried to get out of the shower last month.
The wheelchair-bound 55-year-old was unable to reach the safety handles that he uses to haul himself out of the bath.
Luckily, his service dog Libby was on hand to help save his life.
She licked his face as he drifted out of consciousness and slapped her paws on the floor to keep him awake, Local6.com reported.
”I actually spent a lot of time hallucinating. I wasn’t aware of what reality was,” he said.
Ashworth was rescued from in his own Colorado home by a driver who regularly calls round to give him lifts to the shops.
