Girls, 15 and 9, survive fire

Two girls, aged 15 and 9, were at home in Dulwich (UK) when they noticed that something was being psuhed through the letter box. They heard some crackling and then saw smoke. The flat was on fire and the front door, through which letter box the arson device had been entered, was their only way out - but it now was on fire.
When firefighters arrived at the scene it took them 25 minutes to contain the fire. The girls were found hiding in their bedroom and were treated on the scene for smoke inhalation.
They escaped with minor injuries only.
Police is investigating the arson attack.
Peckham CID officers hunting for the youths arrested a 19-year-old man in connection to the incident, who was bailed, pending further investigation. They are still looking for two further youths.
