prize puts brakes on car hunt

Margaret Cresswell-Jones needed a new car. Well OK, a second-hand one. She found one and put down a deposit. At the same time she bought a book of raffle tickets in the Mitsubishi Space Star in the Research into Ageing Grand Raffle.
“…before I went ahead with the sale I was contacted and told that I had won the first prize in this raffle. I really couldn’t believe it.”
The first prize? A brand new car…
