Seashore inside church

Published: August 19, 2003

Who said a church club had to be dusty and boring? The summer holiday club ran by St Paul’s Church at Sticklepath (UK) recreates a seashore from 2000 years ago - right inside its church hall.

The theme this year is “Seaside Rock” and children will be transported to a virtual beach without leaving the hall.

The club will feature plenty of fun, games, crafts, songs and a bit of slapstick, all with a seaside flavour.

There is a low entry fee of just 50 pence.

It is run on a not-for-profit basis with the help of church volunteers and friends — children are welcome whether they have a link with the church or not.
