12 to 15 thousans people are expected to join in the Dreamwalk possibly raising 25 thousand english pounds in aid of the North Devon Hospice.
The audience will be taken on a breathtaking illuminated night-time walk around the Castle Hill Estate owned by Lady Arran.
It will be like a magical experience as people are guided by 100,000 lights, lanterns and torches as well as hundreds of performers and musicians telling stories from down the centuries.
On arrival, the audience will see a fairground promising the start of many more fantastic scenes.
During the night people will encounter dreams of love, nature, optimism, fear, history and magic.
Many of the special effects used have never been seen before in the South West, such as an enormous 80ft by 40ft water screen with huge images projected on to the cascading water that appear to be hanging in space.
The organisation of this spectacular night show involved 16,000 hours of planning, 28 miles of cable, four miles of rope, 12,000 light bulbs, 1,000 volunteers and five miles of bunting.
Last year the event was tremendeously popular. With that in mind steps have been taken to let the event pass smoothly. Walkers will start at half-hour intervals for instance.
The hospice hopes to rais 500 thousand english pounds in total to provide the community with a bedded unit.
